What is a robotic mower?

An autonomous mower, also known as a robotic mower, is a device that allows you to automate the process of maintaining your garden, either partially or entirely. The robotic mower leaves its "home base" on its own and begins mowing according to a preset schedule that you set in advance. After completing the task, it automatically returns to its docking station to recharge, eagerly awaiting the next scheduled mowing session. Of course, you can also start mowing immediately using an app on your smartphone or with the push of a button on the control panel. The app control feature is available on all Cedrus robotic mower models.

The robotic mower doesn't need to be stored at its base station. If you prefer, you can keep it in the garage and start mowing at any time – just place the robot on its base and give the command "mow." After all, you're in charge! This option is particularly useful for irregular tasks on small, flat lawns.

Our new Cedrus C-MOW robotic mowers will take care of your garden. A key feature of our robots is the easy installation in the garden and intuitive operation. To enable the mower to cut the grass, the first step is to install the boundary wire, which defines the robot's working area. The wire, along with stakes, is included in the package. Next, connect the wire to the charging station. The next step is to place the mower in the charger and turn it on. For users who prefer simplicity, C-MOW mowers are pre-programmed. Simply turn on the mower, and it will follow the set schedule.

If you wish to introduce your personal settings, you can do so in two ways:

1. Using the keyboard and display – refer to the user manual for instructions.
2. Connect the mower to your smartphone via the "Robotic-Mower Connect" app.

Do I need a perfectly flat lawn to use a robotic mower?

Your lawn doesn't need to be perfectly level, as shown in gardening catalogs. The Cedrus C-MOW L20+ can handle terrain with inclines of up to 36%. It features large 215mm drive wheels, equipped with a high, soft tread that ensures the robot won't sink into soft ground or lose traction when climbing slopes or mowing wet grass. The front, solid, swivel wheels have a diameter of 85mm. If your lawn has small holes, it's not a problem, as the C-MOW L20+ can easily navigate them.

The CEDRUS L20+ C-MOW model is designed for lawns up to 2000m² (20 ares). It has 4 start points, which can be freely adjusted using the mobile app. The mower is equipped with both Bluetooth and Wi-Fi modules. The mowing system consists of a disc with 3 rotating blades. The working width of the L-series mowers is 22 cm, and the cutting height is adjustable from 20 to 60mm using a knob on the mower's housing. The cutting disc is equipped with a hinge system that raises the disc when it encounters an obstacle.

Additionally, the C-MOW L-series mowers are equipped with proximity sensors, which detect obstacles before hitting them, allowing the mower to bypass them and continue mowing.

Once connected to your home Wi-Fi network, you can control the mower from anywhere in the world. The constant internet connection also allows the mower to update automatically.

Does the CEDRUS C-MOW Robot Require Frequent Maintenance?

Thanks to its design, which promotes automatic cleaning, the maintenance tasks for the robot are kept to a minimum. There's no need to clean the mower after each use or rake the lawn once the mowing session is complete. The only maintenance task to remember is the regular replacement of the cutting blades. Since the blades are made from exceptionally durable materials, this task should be done no more than once a year, even if the mower encounters more challenging obstacles such as sticks or pine cones.

How to Install the CEDRUS C-MOW Robot

The installation of the robot is incredibly simple. The user receives a very straightforward and easy-to-read manual, along with all the necessary accessories for assembly.

Here’s the basic installation process:

1. Choose a location for the charging station.
2. Lay the boundary wire around the lawn. This wire should be pinned to the ground with special stakes or buried 3-5 cm deep.
