General Guidelines for Operating Bioethanol Fireplaces

1. Fueling the Fireplace

  • Use only approved bioethanol fuel that is suitable for indoor use and does not emit harmful fumes.

  • Refill the fuel only when the fireplace is completely cool—never add fuel while the fireplace is hot to avoid flare-ups.

2. Igniting the Flame

  • Use a long lighter or safety match.

  • Ignite the fuel from the side, not from above, to prevent burns.

  • Wait a few minutes for the flame to stabilize.

3. Adjusting the Flame Height

  • Use the control mechanism to adjust the flame size according to your preference, always within safe operating limits.

4. Extinguishing the Flame

  • Use the provided cover to extinguish the flame by placing it over the burner.

  • Allow the fireplace to cool down completely before cleaning or refueling.

5. Maintenance and Cleaning

  • Regularly wipe surfaces with a soft cloth to remove dust and soot.

  • Check the burner and fuel container periodically for any signs of leaks.

6. Safety Precautions

  • Ensure the room is well ventilated to prevent carbon dioxide buildup.

  • Keep the fireplace away from flammable materials such as curtains and furniture.
